1.
My dreams are lucid I learn the lines for another ordinary day This won’t take long, I’m used to it If something goes wrong, it’s only temporarily Talking in my sleep Rehearsing the next day so I get everything right There’s no room for mistakes here The walls are paper-thin Your ears are ringing until you see a face that’s sweet and tentative All the tiny details of people’s lives Accumulating and kept hidden in the machines Talking in my sleep Rehearsing the next day so I stay one step ahead It blows my mind and leaves me reeling
2.
It all began as I was thinking about The flowers growing randomly over her bed The carved out road, how it hugs the sea And the steep incline always kills me I'm much older now I'm hardened by all of the things she left me to figure out And I forgot about the warming midday sun The sand on my skin and a midnight walk I miss these things Now I long for the sea Just to hear it at night and to feel the salty breeze blow through me I want to lie there with a head full of dreams And skip through the fields Unaware of what lies ahead of me
3.
Your head resists what your heart knows Your feelings are shy and withdrawn You do not trust easily You begin unravelling You are absorbed in your emotions Not looking out for other people You begin unravelling These things happen for a reason It's not obvious to you now
4.
She sits through the meaningless conversation And tells me how she imagined it to be She’s bored so easily Her head is somewhere else She’s blowing out candles And making wishes to be anywhere else but here Amongst all the old faces All the possibilities are so inviting I never knew she had such dreams She wants to see the sun on the other side of the world I say "Don’t stay where you are For once in your life let yourself have this moment Leave the windows open".

Sleep 02:46
Feeling your way says that all that you own Tendering all that remains in your heart Resist it all again Don’t know the way, so alter the weather and all that you had If you were ordered, he’s in your head It all begins again He looks through the light and rounds the horses up ahead Tame the light that rested all The rain’s a veil Lord, haul me away Who will say the bruises stain all The frozen hands Ruin me in your fire Where can love lie?
7.
There’s no way back I’ve covered all my footprints I spin around until I drop and I wake up as a newborn I don’t even know how I got here I’ll put my head down I’m gonna catch up to you Oh, you kept my secret well - thank you I don’t want to give in to any temptation I left no trail I didn’t want to be found in the state I was in I’m learning how to talk to you without the hidden meaning When I think of what I did to you and still you stayed with me I had to take my guilt and drown it I’ll put my head down I’m gonna make you follow me I’ve let you see another side, don’t hold it over me I won’t shy away, living in this new world I left no trail I’ll put my head down To take a new breath I see you by my side I won't shy away I’ll see another side I don’t want to know how I got here I just want to get on with it I won’t shy away I’ll put my head down

Last night a terrible wind blew past my window All the rain, all the snow It dragged me away Into the sea Into the sky I’ll drown there in your love Straight lines Lead me to you
10.
Hear, listen Your star has fallen over Wave goodbye to the feeling of safe and sound In your own time, you’ll feel alive Extract the meanings and tuck them under your pillow Lay low, but listen close One day you’ll want to be alive In your own time, you’ll feel alive And I could have told you but you were closing over Wait for one day and let the darkness know you Hours drown you in moments, falling slower Just surrender The tide will turn for you again In your own time, you’ll feel alive

And so, sorrow Alone and all I hear the weeping bird For some other way Follow the rising fall
13.
Pavilion 04:25
Have I always been this way? Can I always feel this way? Held within a shadow, while Lost inside a frame Will I always feel this way? Can a teardrop stop the rain? Can a sinner hide her shame? Held within the light, while lost without a name Can a teardrop stop the rain? Just another lost at sea I'll trade the tide to rescue me How come you left me with no sail to find the shore? Just another lost at sea
