This improvised track was made with a toy keyboard I found on the street, called a Dream Dazzler. It was made live during my Little Pink Fluffy Clouds sessions a few years ago. The beat, bass notes and melody are coming from the keyboard. The vocals were made live as I processed them through some pedals and looped and layered them. I edited it down from about 10 minutes to this version.
I always hoped to develop this song further with an electronic artist who could reconstruct certain parts and add some lush, more complex drum and bass to help me fully realise it. I had imagined it as an abstract synth-pop track. I am still hopeful for this, but for now I want to release it is the low-fi demo version it is. I'd rather get it out there instead of having it sitting on my hard drive feeling neglected. Bandcamp is good for releasing one off tracks like this. Hope you enjoy, and let's see if there will be another version of this in the future :)

OMG the textures! Contrasting Karen's strong & clear voice with the fraying, hazing, gauzy manipulations of the guitars and synths is a must-hear. Panacea I gives you a good thing, then Panacea II deconstructs the voice, then gives you way more of a good thing turning it into a complete re-imagining of an already re-imagined track. "Panacea II" would be a superb inclusion to "The Arrival" if that soundtrack were released now. Support this release. F'ing outstanding. Anthony Childs
